Our Review Of Hotel Chambord, Brussels, Beglium

Our Review Of Hotel Chambord, Brussels, Beglium
We booked this hotel on booking.com and found it was excellent in location and had very friendly reception staff available at all times. The room we booked was clean, however each time we walked in it had a slight odour for a few moments before it disappeared. Our booking included breakfast between 7am-10am, there was a spread of croissants, toasts, jams, eggs, cereals, fruit and not to forget a tea and coffee machine! We particularly enjoyed the Café Latte at breakfast here, not something we usually go for.
One downfall to this hotel is that the refreshments are limited to breakfast and cannot be enjoyed later on in the day. There was no coffee, tea, or drinking water available in our rooms either. One night we were absolutely drenched in the cold European weather and upon reaching the hotel, we asked if it was possible for us to get a hot drink before we caught a cold, unfortunately the hotel reception staff said this would not be possible and that we would have to go out to the shops around to get the drink. We were disappointed by this as the hotel staff could clearly see we were cold and wet from the rain.
Aside from the above issue we had, we enjoyed the remainder of our stay at the hotel and would consider staying here again. The location was great, we had breakfast included, and the rooms were clean.
We booked this hotel on Booking.com – this site is our go to when booking accommodation for our holidays. The deals are great, and they have a nice loyalty scheme where you are rewarded as you move up 'genius' levels with free upgrades and complimentary breakfasts included in your booking price.
The staff were very friendly at our aparthotel and overall we would rate this hotel a 9/10. The room was so spacious and felt home like with the addition of a lounging area and kitchen, perfect for both couples and families. They had a private sunbathing and swimming pool area for guests of the hotel, where there was also a small infinity pool, watching the sunset from here was beautiful. We were also able to wash and dry our clothes for a small fee, which was really convenient for us as we were yet to visit other destinations. The aparthotel was immaculately clean and great value for money. The only thing we did not like about our room was the placement of the TV, as it was placed on a wall in the middle of the room in an awkward position, but we made do. Aside from that maybe they could offer milk for guests from the UK so we can enjoy a nice cuppa on holiday haha. We would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone considering a holiday in the city, it was honestly one of our favourite stays and we would definitely consider staying here again.
