Are you planning to go Hajj in 2024? This is our advice from Hajj 2023

Hawa Seedat and I were fortunate enough to attend Hajj in 2023.
We used the new Nusuk platform which was well...challenging to say the least.

Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing lots of information about the processes, what to expect and how to best prepare. If you are interested in this then subscribe to our email newsletter.

Let’s begin:

3 tips that you need to be best prepared for Hajj 2024:

🤸‍♂️ Hit the gym - you are going to need the strength to deal with the shoving and pushing that will happen amid millions of people. Hawa Seedat to this day is thankful for all the calf raises I made her do.

🚶‍♂️ Get walking - On one day of Hajj I walked 48,000 steps, these were only the recorded steps and we were fortunate enough to be able to use the train system so we walked less than those using the other transport methods.

🏩 Book a hotel - this is one we wish someone had told us. When we got to Azizya and saw our hotel we were in for a shock. The hotel had no name only coordinates and long story short you could hear the cockroaches 🕷 under your bed. I used booking.com (https://lnkd.in/eqZAPar9) to book a hotel for the days we were able to.

Key Takeaway - book a hotel with free cancellation just in case you end up in a situation like ours. Once you get there and your hotel is fine, well then cancel your hotel.
