One of the common requirements across jobs in the Middle East is to have a degree. 🎓
In Qatar, it is even more specific. Your degree has to be face-to-face, which means if you did an online degree, you would not qualify. 🚫💻
Apprenticeships are great and I think they are a much better alternative. However, you must bear in mind that you will struggle in the Middle East without a degree. 💡
The perfect solution right now is a degree apprenticeship. Unfortunately, these are very competitive.
If you are looking to move to the Middle East, you may want to reconsider which route you take.
Who knows, maybe in a few years, the Middle East will no longer require degrees if you can show you have experience in the field, and they might even accept an apprenticeship. 📈
This only applies to you if you are planning to make the move to the Middle East. ✈️
