The truth no one talks about when moving to Qatar.

I am the youngest of an entire generation in my family.

I always lived at home from birth. I did not move out for university. 🏡

By 21, all my brothers had moved out and my wife and I lived with my parents. 4 people in a 5-bedroom house.

At 22 I got my job offer in Qatar.

No one said anything and we kept having a good time and enjoyed our last moments.

Then the day came. The day we moved to Qatar. ✈

The airport was filled with tears.

For the first time in my life, I saw my father cry. 😥

Ever since I moved to Qatar, I have missed out on:

- My closest cousin brothers wedding - Zakariya Sidat congratulations to him 🎉
- My nephew's first day at school 🏫
- Ramadhan & Eid with my family 🌙
- I have not seen my closest friends and family in 8 months

These are just some of the things I have missed. Being away from home means missing out on occasions and TIME with family.

There is no correct answer, this is just a hard pill you have to swallow.

If you want to live the life that the ME countries have to offer, then you will have to make some sacrifices, and being away from family is one of them.
